This thread will be dedicated to an ongoing list of the 10 games that had the most influence on you as a gamer.  They can be any type of game, from console to PC to handheld that you would consider as must play titles.  Though we will have specific list for genres of games, this would qualify as an overall "best of" compilation.

Seeing the games that share multiple list is always cool, but seeing some of the titles you may have forgotten or that you may have overlooked is what make these list interesting.

Feel free to just list the titles or list the games and a description about each one letting us know why it ranks the way it does.
